(01)  How it works

An invoice in four steps

  1. 01

    Your details

Add your name or business, PAN, contact details and an optional logo once. They are remembered for the next invoice.

  2. 02

    Client and items

Add who you are billing, then each item or service with quantity, rate and any discount.

  3. 03

    Tax and terms

Add 13% VAT or any tax, shipping, an amount already paid, your bank or wallet details and terms.

  4. 04

    Send

Download a text-based PDF and email it. Start the next invoice with one click: the number goes up by one.

Common questions

Is this invoice generator free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit. Your invoices are saved only in this browser, and you can export each one as a JSON file to keep a copy.

How do I download the invoice as a PDF?

Click Download PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog. Keep margins on Default and turn off headers and footers. The PDF has real, selectable text, so clients and accounting software can read it.

Can I add 13% VAT?

Yes. Click "Add 13% VAT" or type any tax name and rate. Tax is applied after discounts. If you are registered for VAT in Nepal, remember that tax invoices must follow the Inland Revenue Department billing rules, so use this tool for quotations, proforma invoices or invoices that do not need to be VAT bills.

Does it show the amount in words?

Yes. The total is written in words using lakh and crore for Nepalese and Indian rupees (for example "One Lakh Twenty Thousand"), and million and billion for other currencies.

Which currencies are supported?

Nepalese rupee, Indian rupee, US dollar, euro, British pound, Australian and Canadian dollar, UAE dirham and Japanese yen. Rupee amounts use the 1,00,000 grouping.

Can I invoice foreign clients from Nepal?

Yes. Pick the client's currency, add your PAN, bank or Payoneer details under payment details, and send the PDF. How that income is taxed depends on your situation, so check with the Inland Revenue Department or a tax adviser.

Is my data safe?

Everything stays in your browser (localStorage) on this device. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing your browser data deletes the drafts, so export JSON files for anything you need to keep.
