Overview

A set of eight games for TikTok LIVE. The streamer shares a game on screen and viewers play by typing in the comments, with no gifts, links, apps or sign-ups.

Keeping a LIVE room busy is hard when the only thing to do is watch. Tream turns the chat into the controller: viewers pull, vote, race and guess just by typing, which means more comments, longer watch time and bigger rooms.

Streamers connect with their TikTok username only, with no password, and Tream reads the public LIVE comments. They pick a game, share the stream view on their LIVE from a phone, TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS, and stay on camera while chat plays. It suits gaming, chatting and IRL streamers, teachers, musicians and artists.

    Viewers play by typing comments like BLUE / RED or A / B / C / D. No gifts, links, apps or sign-ups.

    A clean view that shows only the game, ready to share as a window or screen on the LIVE.

    Custom packs

    Build trivia and word packs in a visual editor or upload them as JSON.

    Saved settings

    Rounds, timers, teams and keywords are remembered between streams.

    Demo mode

    Rehearse any game with simulated chat before going live.

How I built it

  • 01Designed and built the games, the stream view and the streamer dashboard
  • 02Connected games to public TikTok LIVE comments using only a username
  • 03Built the custom trivia and word pack editor with JSON import
  • 04Set up subscriptions with a free trial, plus a blog and SEO for creator searches
