Overview
An npm package that equips AI coding agents with up-to-date SEO and Generative Engine Optimization skills, plus a CLI that audits pages and generates JSON-LD, llms.txt and sitemaps.
Search changed. Ranking on classic blue links is only half the job now: pages also need to be cited and summarised by Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, ChatGPT Search, Gemini and Claude. Most AI coding assistants either lack current SEO knowledge or fill the prompt with long generic rules.
SEOAnything fixes that with one command. Running npx seoanything init installs nine skills for whichever agents it detects in a repo: an all-in-one seo-master runbook plus eight focused skills for when you want to save tokens. A built-in CLI then audits the result. This portfolio is built with it.
Key features
- 01
One-command setup
npx seoanything init detects Cursor, Claude Code, Antigravity, Gemini and Copilot and writes each agent's rules and skills files.
- 02
seo-master skill
A single runbook covering Core Web Vitals, JSON-LD, BLUF writing, topic clusters, internal links, programmatic SEO and audits.
- 03
Eight focused skills
seo-technical, seo-keywords, seo-content, seo-geo, seo-schema, seo-links, seo-programmatic and seo-audit for token-light tasks.
- 04
CLI auditor
npx seoanything audit checks a repo, a single Next.js, TanStack Start or Astro route, or a live URL.
- 05
Generators
JSON-LD for articles, FAQs, organisations, breadcrumbs, products and more, plus llms.txt and XML sitemaps.
- 06
Zero dependencies
Runs with npx on Node.js 18+, MIT licensed, with a programmatic Node.js API.
